Ok, so I copped a server and I bought the software we need to upgrade the forums, however ipbfree will not give me a back up of the database, so if i switch it over to the newer software we have to start from scratch, i.e. all of your posts ill be gone, you'll all have to rejoin, rebuild your post counts redo your galleries, etc.

the good news is that this board will be up so u can copy and paste your posts to the new forum, galleries, sotw wins, etc.

The bad news is thats a lot of work.

we do have a domain now, though. and i can leave the forums here and just link it from the mainsite, so I just wanted some feedback from you guys since its your opinion that matters and you helped pay for this stuff.

Having a server and TLD will be so worth it in the long run. Lucid has a really great activity rate for their membership base too, so I'm sure everyone will be more than happy to re-register on the shiny, new and improved, Lucid.

i already saved all my links so i am pretty much ready to move anyone who uploaded something here should probably do the same as me..
