I don't see many black and white signatures out there, but when I do, they look pretty decent. What do you think about black and white sigs? If two good sigs are battling but one of them is in black and white, which one do you think will win?

i love them and i love making them but you're up against a lot of opposition when you do. theres always some jackass that says 'hey that's monotone'

Yeah but there are some signatures that show just black and white AND a color. I think it's quite pretty though, especially if the sig is well composed all together.

Black and whites sigs seem a bit more difficult to pull off, but it it's done nicely then yeah I'll vote for it. It is a bit annoying when people are always looking for that burst of color in every sig, just like there are some that will go apeshit if the sig isn't flooded with c4d's or FX.

I like B&W sigs, though b/c they are monotone, it's quite hard to get good depth in those type of sigs. And if you don't add depth on purpose, sometimes it's hard to make some really good GFX with it. =\

Black and White sigs, fall into a minimalistic genre, so If you were to make one, you'd have to keep it pretty simple, to active, or messy and it can lead to a mess. but that doesnt mean it cant be complex =]
