I always like to know what people use for inspiration for there works...

I LOVE Retro shit.. I think the designs from back in the day, the 60's and 70's design was the best..

As I was surfing Digg, I got this article about Retro Design, and someones fav 50 designs from the 60-70s.

What do you guys use to inspire you into making something?? Listen to music? Watch a movie?

wow.. you know i've never actually tried drawing inspiration from other stuff to do my sigs.. mb i do, but im not sure? perhaps i should try that sometime..

music and my muse.

the muse changes from time to time, the music does as well, but if i feel emotional attachment to either then whatever im creating is that much better and usually exceeds my current skill level. it's almost like a power up. im lacking both good music and a good muse right now though. T.T

i do listen to music while working on soemthing but i doubt that inspires me, i normally choose some random stuff wich makes sense in my head, than after drooling for half an hour i start working on it

I look outside, as corny as that sounds. I'm constantly listening to music, so I can't say if that does much.

I sometimes listen to music but I work better in peace and quiet.

Music inspires me quite a bit, but for Fanfic more than anything else.

Other people's work, usually if it's a style I like, i try to see if I can use that style working in with a style I use.
Also music, movies, and sometimes a current obsession. =p

I use music for text but in making the sig itself I get it from the render. I see something I think of text, colors, what I want from it tho I usually never get to where I want it to be T.T

I look at a variety of good signatures or work and then try to incorporate some of the elements. I like to try different styles so I'd be able to be more flexible.

Besides looking at other people's work, I look through pictures and model pics. Music sometimes helps too.

For writing my muse is my morals basically. (Like how I feel about something.)

Graphics are usually inspired by music.
