Ok so if your a One Piece fan or your active on Anime Tower you'll probably know that I work for Basement Scans cleaning One Piece every week.

Now I'm looking for anyone who can use Photo Shop (Presumably the whole forum has at least heard of it...It's a GFX forum after all).

Who would be interested in working for Basement Scans. Don't worry if you know nothing about cleaning manga, I am currently in the process of writing a user friendly tutorial that is easy to follow and will produce good quality results.

And the rest scan team will be more than happy to help you out. It doesn't even matter if you don't know how to use Photo Shop cause we'll hook you up with a copy and get you on your way.

If you join you will be either working on OP, Bleach or Naruto. And if I get enough applications we will be able to expand into other manga too.

All we ask is that you give up a few hours each Friday (the time you will work at will vary depending on your time zone, and when the RAW manga comes out, for me I usually start cleaning between 4pm and 8pm).

Please do not apply if you are not willing to commit. I will admit that the process can be tedious and repetitive at times, especially when you have just started. The biggest problem we have is people think "Yea I can do that", then after scanning 1-2 chapters decide they don't want to anymore.

I have reasonable experience with Photoshop and I have been considering getting involved with the scanlating process in some way for a while now.

I do not read OP or Naruto but am sure that it does not make much difference.

I am also already a member of AT but not very active.

The only problem that I really have is that I am in the GMT time zone. I rarely sleep before 3-4 AM anyway so it might not be a problem but could you let me know what sort of time I'd be looking at having to do this as I am very interested.

If the times are workable would you consider me for the position?

Don't worry I'm GMT too lol.

Usually I start working on the chapter from anywhere between 4pm-8pm, and finish in about 2-3 hours. But the RAW's can come out as late as midnight for whatever reason, but that doesn't happen very often.

I'll let the other members of the team know and I'll PM you with what will happen next. But you can consider yourself as good as hired.

how many hours on friday do you usually spend doing this?

73 is the average I think.

Well I take between 2-3 hours, 4 at the most...But I'm probably the fastest scanner on the team...but the average time I'd say is about 4 hours. (On your own that is, I think you'll be working in pairs.)

so in pairs it would be about 2 hours?

Yea about 2 - 2 1/2 hours...3 at the most if something goes horribly wrong lol...
