Full Version: Downloading Resources...
momok
Hi,

I notice that several of the resources, brush/render/c4d packs and tutorials are hosted on megaupload. However it poses a problem for me as all slots from my ip (I have no idea why) are always taken up at megaupload. This means I would have to download the toolbar, which contains the alexa toolbar.

I've heard this toolbar collects information on the user, thus it's similar to a sort of spyware. Is there anyway I can download the resources without using megaupload?

some of our resources are currently on rapidshare, and i apologize for the mega upload thing. currently im in the process of uploading all of our resources to our mainsite, which you can find at the top navigation where it says 'home'. They will all be direct download, but it's generally just me doing the uploading and its taking some time. if theres something specific you'd like to have uploaded please let me know and ill make it a priority smile.gif Also if you're looking for stocks, c4ds, or renders you can find them here

We've been adding lots of stuff to that lately. Everythings divided into folders. You won't find brushes or packs but if you feel like browsing you will some quality stuff. smile.gif Again, Direct Download is coming very soon. i'll make an announcement as soon as I get some stuff up.

Cool! I must say you're doing a really great job with this site! wink.gif
I was wondering.. how much does it cost to host a site like this?
Halibel
it costs...absolutely nothing smile.gif

ipbfree lets you host your board for free and I use a couple free hosts to host the resources and the mainsite. But since I really like all you guys and want you to have amazing download speeds and 100% server uptime I am getting a paid host. It will cost about $140 for 2 years.
