The rather large clickable smilie list is being made smaller. Smilies are not being deleted, they're still there. Just... You have to click the link that says 'Show all' at the bottom of the thingiez majig to see them.

Mainly only the yellow smiliez will be sticking about on the top, and maybe Kisamemon, bcoz he's badass. *or whatever this thing's name is > *
